BROOCH, 19th century, having five round citrines in a “cross” formation with a thistle motif
between each “arm”. The stones are all secured in rubbed over settings in an unhallmarked
yellow metal. The centre stone measures 12.9mm diameter, 11.36mm depth (ca 9.74ct) and
the surrounding stones approximately 11.2mm diameter (ca 5.30ct) each.
The brooch measures 45.8mm x 43.1mm. The brooch is tested and value as if 18ct gold.
